From Our Founder

I was always fascinated by the way lights move, the way they make things pop, and how they bring things to life. As a professional lighting engineer, I have experienced the sense of awe and wonder that the sophisticated light shows at concerts inspire. I want to bring this same sense of wonder to everyone, which inspired me to start Teramax Tech.

Two years ago, I set out to get something cool and fun for my niece’s birthday. At 11 years old, she was interested in design, which inspired me to get her something that would spark her creativity. I was disappointed to see devices skewed heavily male and were overly complex and expensive. This led me to research and learn there was nothing currently available that was affordable and user-friendly for young hobbyists as well as adult consumers and small businesses that could also make great use of a controllable light.

This led me to create a product that inspires users the to program their lighting design using our app and lights to create anything they want from unique light shows to supporting their own live events. The opportunities are limitless and fueled by their own imaginations.
